Center for Law and Social Work is looking for a dedicated and organized individual to take on the position of Wendy’s Wonderful Kids Adoption Recruiter in our Adoption Listing Service Program.
The primary responsibilities are to provide child specific recruitment for youth that supports life long connections and potential adoptive families.
As a member of the professional team you will work cooperatively with the youth, the youth’s worker and other significant people in the youth's life to assist in the facilitation of recruitment activities.
The successful candidate will have: • An attention to detail • A tried and true ability to stay organized • Work experience in foster care and/or adoption • A personality that encourages confidence and trust • Ability to keep up with a high volume of email and phone correspondence • CWEL license required
Responsibilities: • Case file maintenance and review • Conduct interviews with youth • Monthly contact with assigned youth
CWEL license required
Work experience in foster care and/or adoption
Be able to clear a background check.
Be willing to travel both locally and within the state. Anticipate sometimes being away from home overnight.
This job absolutely requires a car, plus a valid driver's license and car insurance.
Have a Masters Degree in social work or a related field with at least two years of child welfare experience is required.
