Roberts Wesleyan College, located in Rochester, NY, invites applications for two full-time, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor positions, starting in the fall semester 2017 in our new Non-Traditional degree completion program in Brooklyn, NY. (Positions will be based in Rochester, NY.)
Department of Social Work: The vision of the Department of Social Work is to lead the advancement of integrating Christian faith with social work practice, scholarship, and service locally, nationally, and internationally. Our department has 12 faculty members across our BSW and MSW program. The BSW program has collaborated with Testing and Training International, located in Brooklyn New York, to bring an exciting and innovative 18-month, lockstep degree-completion program to the Orthodox Jewish Community. This new program has both New York State Education and Middle States approvals. Cohort number one was successfully launched in February 2017. We are planning on launching cohorts two and three in August 2017, contingent upon meeting cohort enrollment expectations.
Responsibilities: Be the lead professor in serving the needs of 10-20 students in a non-traditional, degree completion program with Orthodox Jewish Students; provide for their academic advisement; serve as field liaison; serve on Department and College committees and maintain a record of scholarship and professional activity.
