A social work professional with strong organizational and interpersonal skills to develop and direct field education in compliance with the Council on Social Work Education's accreditation standards. Primary responsibilities will be the creation of policies and procedures for both Junior and Senior level field placements, establishing and maintaining qualified field placements for students, teaching field seminar classes as well as other social work classes, and active involvement in the creation of the social work program. Additional responsibilities include student advising, gatekeeping, professional and university service, and scholarly activity.
Minimum Qualifications:Candidates should have a MSW from a CSWE accredited program with two years post-masters practice experience; have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; have the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues within and outside the department; be flexible, organized, collegial, and able to multi-task; understand social work from a biblical worldview. Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience and field coordination experience in a CSWE accredited program is preferred. Additionally, experience in clinical supervision is ideal. The preferred candidate will have a license in social work and a minimum of three years post-master's practice experience. A PhD with a clinical emphasis is preferred, but not required.
