The Addictions Counselor is an integral role to our residential treatment team. This person is responsible for providing psych-education recovery groups and individual sessions to all adolescents in our drug/alcohol and CSEC programs on a weekly basis with a caseload of around 10-18 youth. While the focus is recovery from substance abuse/dependence, the addictions counselor will be working with co-occurring disorders and will be expected to help address relapses and prevention with the individual’s abilities in mind.

One of the following is REQUIRED:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage,Family and Child Counseling form an accredited college or university. . Must be LCSW, LMFT, registered intern with BBS, certified alcohol and other drugs counselor, or registered to obtain such certification with 6 months of hire date. *Must be able to meet and receive a criminal records clearance as required by Title XXII licensing regulations
*Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with at least 5 years driving experience and no more than 2 points on driving record
Additional Salary Information: 2 Weeks paid vacation- start accruing immediately (regular full time)
Sick Pay-start accruing immediately (regular full time)
Medical paid by employer at 75%
