External Relationships: Apartment Managers, Churches of Hope, School leaders, LVT RISE leaders, area organizations and volunteers
Job Summary:This position will lead all LVT Apartment Ministry activities and will work together with the Camp Hope Manager and her team.This individual will be actively involved in a local church and his/her life will reflect a walk with Christ that brings honor and glory to God.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement LVT Apartment Ministry plans
With the help of the Executive Director, put into place a strategy and plans to connect with individuals and households in need living in apartment complexes located in the greater Las Vegas Trail area.
Learn and Master Center of Hope processes and resources for working with participants in need to help them achieve greater levels of self-sufficiency.
Build excellent relationships with area apartment managers.
Reach out to and connect with participants in need and build a Plan of Action which will help them set a pathway to self-sufficiency.
Conduct and document one-on-one sessions with participants as they pursue their Plan of Action.
Coordinate efforts with the Camp Hope LVT Program to build synergy.
Help recruit, train and encourage volunteers to assist in the ministry
Partner with other like programs in the LVT community, understand services offered and build relationships with key leaders in the area.
Enter data into WFW DATABASE to insure data integrity.
Provide brief Monthly reports on highlights of the program, including expenses and the issues and victories encountered during that month.
Background:3 to 5 years experience in social work or community ministry is ideal; or in a similar community outreach position with a nonprofit or church.

Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus
This is a full-time position of 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with flexibility. Attendance at Camp Hope LVT sessions is required and is included in total hours worked.
