Milligan University seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in the field of social work to begin fall 2021. Successful candidate will teach social work classes at the undergraduate level, assume responsibility for our recently developed BSW program, and assist the University in moving toward CSWE accreditation for the program. Requirements are: 1) an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program; 2) demonstrated excellence in teaching; 3) the ability to integrate Christian faith within an academically grounded BSW program. Preference will be given to candidates who are terminally degreed and who have existing or planned Tennessee licensure. A desire and ability to integrate faith and learning in a liberal arts environment are essential. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, commitment to the University mission, and a lifestyle consistent with University goals.
