Preference for bilingual, Spanish speaking. Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Reimbursement is available. Programs for Children Adolescents (PFCA) is the outpatient service component of the University of New Mexico Hospital Children's Psychiatric Center. We provide an array of outpatient mental health services for a highly diverse population of children, adolescents, and families primarily from Albuquerque and surrounding Bernalillo County. Many of our clients speak Spanish in the home. PFCA offers clinic, community-based, and homebased mental health services for children between the ages of 3 and 18 presenting with a variety of psychological, social, emotional and behavioral disorders. The prospective psychologist will provide psychotherapy and psychological testing. The University of New Mexico is a training hospital, and this position will likely involve supervision of pre-doctoral psychology interns and/or other trainees. The position will involve opportunities to participate in program development and quality improvement projects. Responsible for mental health care and education. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care assignment may include Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric age groups. |
