NICU and Pedi Physical Therapist

Summary

The Physical Therapist is responsible for the administration, interpretation and evaluation of tests and measurements.
The Physical Therapist plans and modifies treatment programs.
The Physical Therapist works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency, as applicable.
The Physical Therapist completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services to patients

• Administers tests and treatments

• The Physical Therapist develops realistic functional goals based on patient and/or family expectations

• Uses appropriate modalities and procedures correctly demonstrating knowledge of indications and contraindications.

Education

Required: Master�s Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate Physical Therapy

Experience

Preferred: 2 years as a practicing PT in a healthcare setting

Certifications

Required: State Licensure
