Shift: Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm. To promote optimal patient outcome, the Exercise Physiologist will conduct cardiopulmonary rehabilitation exercise and education for referred clients with diverse diagnosis; perform cardiac diagnostic stress testing; promote health and wellness within a specific environment; demonstrate skills and behaviors to promote comprehensive and cost effective and healthcare for consumers in a diverse healthcare environment.
Education Required: BS degree in Exercise Physiology or related exercise science field.
Certificates Required: CPR Preferred: ACLS Experience Required: One year applicable clinical. Cardiac Rehab, EKG interpretations, and teaching experience as position will include teaching group classes to patients.
Skills Required: EKG interpretation. Ability to work independently, prioritize work logically. Verbal and written communication and human relationsâ�� skills.
Knowledge Preferred: Area specific code of ethics and standard of care.
Technology Required: Basic computer skills Preferred: Computerized telemetry monitoring and data management/documentation system.
Other Required: Physical ability to demonstrate the prescribed exercises and a demeanor that reflects a healthy lifestyle.
