The Peer Support Apprentice is aligned under the Social Work Service, in the the HUD VASH Program. The HUD VASH Program is a community-facing program, providing services in the homes of Veterans, in emergency shelters, drop-in centers, and other public locations. The Peer Support Apprentice will work closely with the HUD VASH case management team to provide quality, recovery-oriented services to Veterans experiencing homelessness, complex medical conditions, mental heath diagnoses, and substance use disorders.
