What You Will Need:
Associate’s degree or three years of business development, territory management and/or training experience
Five years’ experience in the hospital and/or outpatient clinical setting preferred
5+ years’ experience providing outpatient practice management support preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred
2+ units of Clinical Pastoral Education preferred
The CMI Manager is responsible for deploying both the mission alignment, integration and engagement plan as well as delivering spiritual care in the AdventHealth outpatient setting through consultative promotion, training, and approved in-practice mission initiatives.
The Alignment piece includes monitoring systems to assess program effectiveness and impact on key performance indicators, deploying mission selection, onboarding and relational initiatives, working with local and corporate leadership in establishing provider mission integration plans and coaching providers through mission integration and engagement.
The Practice Integration piece includes training providers and outpatient entities to conduct Faith in Practice spiritual wholeness screening and developing and supporting Spiritual Care Teams. The CMI Manager will continue to expand their territory through recruiting and business development activities such as generating new leads, presenting CMI initiatives to key leaders and providers, maintaining relationships and following up after presentation(s). The CMI Manager will also train, implement and support additional CMI initiatives such as CREATION Life, Spiritual Ambassadors, and Spiritual Leadership Development as indicated by AdventHealth leadership. CMI Manager’s will manage their territory to maximize growth of CMI initiatives. The CMI Manager will conduct regularly scheduled practice visits and maintain documentation of field activity by managing and tracking required metrics. Additionally, Managers will establish relationships with diverse community faith leaders to create a network of support for patients in their chosen faith tradition.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Physician Well-Being & Engagement
Works with local administration team to customize CMI initiatives for the local entity(ies)
Works with AdventHealth Director of Physician Well-Being and Engagement who provides designed, developed program training and resources needed
Operationalizes the Mission Onboarding program
Facilitates mission orientation presentation
Works with local leadership and physicians to personalize Mission Integration Plans and schedules necessary meetings
Assists in the mission integration evaluation process and tracking of completion
Deploys the Physician Mentoring program and tracking of completion
Deploys, Supports and Tracks a Finding Meaning in Medicine program in market
Supports and strengthens existing Physician Wellbeing & Engagement programs
Oversees specific corporate mission programs in the assigned region
Participates in interviewing and presenting mission to provider candidates.
Works with local physician recruitment and leadership teams to establish mission recruitment and selection criteria
Entity Responsibilities 10%
Creates presentations for leadership as needed
Monitors and reports mission impact through key performance indicators and metrics
Participates in Mission Integration Peer Review committees
Participates in leadership meetings/committees as requested
Develops and maintains department budget
Other mission-oriented duties as assigned
Recruit and manage territory growth and development
Generate new leads to aim in recruiting additional providers and outpatient entities into CMI initiatives
Pitch and present CMI initiatives to leadership and providers
Market/territory expansion and onboarding to mission initiatives
Utilization of clinical best practices integrated into mission
Driving AdventHealth core metrics in the area of Mission Integration and Physician Well-Being and Engagement
Responsible for managing the implementation and sustainment of CMI initiatives in their territory
Maintains a network of spiritual support for patients
Practice/Outpatient Entity Support
Provides training and delivers ongoing support for providers and/or staff to conduct screening spiritual assessments
Assists in development and ongoing support of Spiritual Care Teams
Mentors and supports the Spiritual Care Coordinators to lead their Spiritual Care Teams
Participates in Spiritual Ambassador Team Huddles monthly to quarterly as indicated
Collects and reports stories and experiences that highlight the mission integration impact in their assigned territory
Maintains a log of practice/outpatient entity visits by date, documenting any pertinent information for management
Adheres to required metric accountabilities and data collection set forth by AdventHealth leadership
Implements and supports additional mission-based initiatives, such as, but not limited to; CREATION Life, Spiritual Ambassadors, and Spiritual Leadership Development, as required
Patient Support / Community Support
Tracks referrals from their territory sent for Spiritual Counseling via “Tele-Care”
Ensures and tracks that a Spiritual Care Plan (SCP) is returned to the provider
Maintains accurate documentation of spiritual care referrals
Establishes relationships with diverse community faith leaders to create a network of spiritual support for patients
Liaisons with hospital chaplains for continuity of patient’s spiritual care on admission and/or transition of care to and from hospital
Participates in mission-based community activities related to CMI
