Social Worker Program Coordinator (Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Program Coordinator)
The Social Worker Program Coordinator falls within the Mental Health Service. As the coordinator of the Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Program, the incumbent provides coordination of recovery ­orientated substance use disorder (SUD) services to Veterans served by the Hershel "Woody" Williams Veterans Affairs Medical Center and its Community Base Outpatient Clinic The Social Worker (SW) manages the daily operation of the outpatient program, basing operations on developed policies and procedures. The Coordinator prepares reports and statistics for facility, VISN, and national use, and uses this and other relevant data in making programmatic changes.
