Under the general supervision of the manager of rehab services, provides and documents the full range of physical therapy treatments and tests to all patient populations served. Supervises supportive personnel and participates in education services. In the lead role, provides oversight to the inpatient PTs and PTAs including management of scheduling, payroll and equipment ordering as well as providing clinical support and guidance to the therapists with the goal of ensuring quality therapy delivery with accurate billing and documentation. The lead therapist is also expected to track annual competencies from staff including but not limited to: EHO requirements, online learning modules and annual rehab competencies. Throughout the year, the lead therapist will also be responsible for assisting the manager of Rehab Services with the execution of special projects, including but not limited to IT updates, new patient care initiatives and community events.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Requirements
Graduation from an accredited college leading to a Doctorate, Masterâ��s, or Bachelorâ��s of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. Able to read, write, and speak English.
3 years of experience in acute care required. Prior lead, supervisory or project
management experience preferred.
PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
Licensure in the State of Massachusetts. BLS certification.
