Provides total quality care for each patient undergoing radiotherapeutic treatment. Responsibilities include simulation, treatment planning and administration of a prescribed course of treatment. Through knowledge of radiaton procedures, side effects, and safety precaution is required. Must be aware of the special needs and demands of the cancer patient and promote an environment both safe and therapeutic to the patient.
Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner.
Completes required exams.
Sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation.
Required: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program
Preferred: 1-3 years
Required: TDH & ARRT Registered in Radiation Therapy, BLS; state license if required
