The Social Worker is a member of the Social Worker Service (SWS) Line of the Phoenix VA Healthcare System) and is part of the Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (SUDTP). The incumbent is assigned to support Social Work Service programming and must possess the knowledge and ability to independently implement treatment modalities, identify level of functioning, degree of impairment in occupational, social, academic, interpersonal and family, evaluate and assess lethality, and numerous areas. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
