The Peer Specialist position will be under Mental Health service on a multidisciplinary team supporting engagement in Mental Health Services. Peer specialists perform a variety of therapeutic and supportive tasks that assist Veterans in articulating their goals of recovery, learning and practicing new skills and modeling effective coping techniques. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 02/25/2022. Time-in-Grade Restrictions - Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements unless they qualify for a non-competitive appointment such as Schedule A, VRA or 30% or more disabled. The grade must have been held in the Federal service
