Position Summary: The Director of Quality and Compliance, Outpatient Services is responsible for managing, implementing and coordinating the quality and regulatory compliance programs for the Outpatient Programs and Services of the MultiCare Behavioral Health Network. The Director utilizes quality methodology to educate all levels of staff in continuous performance improvement and patient safety concepts, processes and tools; participates in the review and creation of required quality and compliance policies and serves as a resource to staff regarding federal, state, and MCO, regulations.
Minimum Requirements: Eight (8) years of professional experience performing any combination of quality assurance, quality control, compliance, fiscal operations, organizational development, health information management or healthcare duties required; preferably in a mental healthcare or healthcare organization Five (5) years of experience in managerial or supervisory capacity Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Public Administration, Health Administration, Health Information Management, Systems Analysis, Finance, Economics, Nursing or a related degree. Masters degree preferred
