Role Purpose
Responsible for leading a team of Medical Assistants in providing patient care under the direction of a physician or other licensed provider. Serves as an experienced role model within the practice supporting compliance, providing cross-training, following practice protocols and performing procedures within the practice.
Responsibilities
- Manages inventory and tracking of medications and supplies.
- Ensures practice is in compliance with OSHA and all protocols/procedures in the delivery of patient care.
- Acts as MA clinical subject matter expert to assist practice management in oversight of coverage and daily patient operations.
- Monitors MA required training and certification records and ensures everyone is in compliance with HR.
- Performs triage of incoming escalated patient requests.
- BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years of experience
- <2 years of supervisor experience
- Certification/Registration as Medical Assistant
Preferred QualificationsPreferred Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification
