Position Summary:
This position will provide mental health services to adults, 60 years of age and older in our Older Adult Services department. We work with older adults who experience many common age-related issues, including, caregiver stress, chronic and/or acute health conditions of their own or loved ones, grief and loss, social isolation, economic hardships and other late life transitions. We are able to provide mental health services to older adults with commercial insurance, Medicare and/or Medicaid. We are fortunate to have several contracts that allow us to provide specialized services to older adults that are not typically covered through insurance including, caregiver support to individuals caring for someone with dementia. This position will work with a small, close knit and supportive team of counselors; most of who have a Geriatric Mental Health Specialist certificate. Minimum Requirements:

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field
Licensed in the State of Washington; Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Current CPR Certification
