Works under the supervision of the Business Office Supervisor/Manager. The Team Lead Collector demonstrates knowledge in Commercial and Managed Care Contracts, collections, denials, underpayments and appeals. The Lead is responsible for, but not limited to, daily follow up work in progress (WIP), follow up backlogs, providing timely feedback for staff quality and productivity, effectively training staff to ensure best practice standards are met and proactively resolving collection issues through interdepartmental communication. Works independently and follows through on assignments with minimal direction.

Minimum of three-year experience in a similar position
LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment
