The Social Worker is responsible for managing multiple clients and their individual needs within the Surgery/Perioperative Care department. They serve as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team providing screening, assessment, and individual treatment services, as well as family support and coordinator of care with other VA and community services for patients of the department. Duties include meeting with clients and their loved ones to discuss preparation for surgery and after care. Education: Have a master's degree in social work from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CS
