Position Summary:
The Mental Health Therapist (BA) is responsible for the delivery of clinical counseling and case management services to an identified client population following established treatment guidelines, agency policies and procedures. Incumbents provide therapeutic intervention in a variety of treatment modalities that are matched to client needs. Additional duties include actively advocating on behalf of the client, and providing referrals to other services and programs in the community, as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
Previous experience providing mental health counseling services preferred

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health related field required. (An equivalent number of years (4) of directly applicable experience performing mental health counseling may be accepted in lieu of the degree)
Must obtain Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor registration upon hire
Current Washington State Driver’s License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state. May also require reliable vehicle for client transport
