Summary
Physical Therapist Acute t is responsible for the administration, interpretation and evaluation of tests and measurements.
Physical Therapist Acute plans and modifies treatment programs. Competency with Pediatric patients.
Physical Therapist Acute completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
Other related duties as assigned to Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Provides physical therapy services to patients
- Administers tests and treatments
- Develops realistic functional goals based on patient and/or family expectations
- Uses appropriate modalities and procedures correctly demonstrating knowledge of indications and contraindications.
Qualifications:Education
Required: Master�s Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate Physical Therapy based on state requirements
Experience
Preferred: Previous experience in Inpatient or Acute Adult Rehabilitation. Pediatric experience welcomed, but not the focus of responsibilities.
Certifications
Required: Florida Physical Therapist License, American Heart Association BLS
Candidates in unit have priority based on unit seniority
