Position Summary:
The Behavioral Health Services Medical Director(s) works to develop short and long-term business strategies of the INW region for BH services in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Chief Physician Executives (CPE) of the partner organizations. The medical director encourages engagement among physicians, staff, and hospital and system leadership; drives strategies for continuous operational and clinical improvement; sets and achieves measurable strategic, operational and financial objectives; and ensures patient satisfaction and overall quality of the programs. The medical director contributes to reshaping the service line and creating an operation and culture that focuses on improving access to patient-centered, high quality and efficient care, enhancing a world class model for Behavioral Health care both operationally and clinically in the INW.

Minimum Requirements:
Five years of current leadership experience in a integrated health system or similar organizational role
Advanced management training (e.g., MBA, Physician Administrative training) or willingness to actively pursue within a timeline specified by Board

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Medical degree from an accredited medical school required
Specialty designation in Psychiatry required including Board Certification
