The incumbent works for the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital and Clinics (JAHVH) in Tampa, Florida, as a direct report to Social Work Service, and is assigned to the Continuity of Care program. Clinical social work services such as determining needs assessments, disposition, and discharge planning are provided to acutely ill Veterans hospital-wide. This position provides weekends, evenings, and holiday social work coverage to the Acute Care and Emergency Department. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
