About the Position/Position RequirementsThe Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of High West Residence, and is actively involved in the interdisciplinary recovery oriented, solution focused, client centered treatment planning and treatment delivery for the clients. The Administrator provides clinical services, staff supervision, training and consultation, serves as a liaison between the team and the Director and provides community linkage as necessary. The Administrator provides clinical services and treatment as per Washington Administrative Code.
Supervisor ResponsibilitiesThis position directly supervises the High West Residence employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience(1) The Administrator is:(a) At least twenty-one years old;(b) Not a resident of the assisted living facility; and(c) Qualified to perform the administrator's duties specified in WAC 388-78A-2560.(2) The Administrator is an individual who meets the requirements of at least one of the following sections in WAC 388-78A-2522 through 388-78A-2527.
Certificates, Licenses, or RegistrationsPreferred: Experience in the provision of clinical services to individuals with mental illness, supervisory experience, MHP qualifications, and Geriatric Mental Health Specialist qualifications.
Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic Microsoft Office programs.
Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee may be engaged in lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, and stooping requiring upper and lower body strength.
