Marriage and Family Therapist - Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP)
The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within Behavior Medicine Service (BMS) serves as a core member of a multi-disciplinary team. The LMFT is responsible for providing family, couple and marriage counseling to Veterans within BMS. The LMFT conducts intakes, assessment interviews, develops treatment plans, and provides treatment to eligible Veterans and their families. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
