The role you’ll contribute:
Provides direct behavioral health patient care.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADL)
•Provides or assists with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions
•Observes and records patient behaviors and activities
•Reports changes in patient conditions to appropriate personnel and recommends treatment plan modifications
•Establishes therapeutic relationships with assigned patients
•Works directly with patients, family members, physicians, and community providers to ensure collaborative and continuous care
•May be required to manage daily group activities
•Assists patients to perform routine activities of daily living
•Recognizes potential escalation of behavior and has ability to use appropriate verbal and physical interventions
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • BLS certification – must be obtained within 90 days of employment • CNA certification if state applicable • Formal De-escalation Training – must be obtained within 90 days of employment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
2 - 5 Years of Position-Related Experience
CNA certification
