The Midwifery Program in the Department of Family Practice at the University of British Columbia invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor (Tenure), or Professor (Tenure). The successful candidate will be expected to take an active leadership role as Director, Midwifery Program. UBC's Midwifery Program was established in 2002 and is the sole educational program for midwifery in British Columbia. The program resides within the Department of Family Practice in the Faculty of Medicine. It offers a four-year entry to practice baccalaureate program, an advanced placement program for registered nurses, as well as a bridging program for Internationally Educated Midwives and a nationally known Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Progra
