The role you'll contribute:
Responsible for the supervision and instruction of students in the clinical area. This position develops, designs, and delivers instruction in clinical courses in collaboration with the course coordinator. Additionally, this role reviews and assists with the revision of department policies and procedures as needed. In addition, this position actively participates in providing outstanding customer service. Additionally, this role maintains respectful relationships with all individuals. Finally, the position ensures the effective delivery of clinical education to undergraduate nursing students.
The value you'll bring to the team:
- Teaches students during their clinical rounds and pre/post conferences.
- Other duties as assigned
- Supports and enforces the course syllabus in collaboration with the course coordinator.
- Develops, designs, and delivers instruction in collaboration with the course coordinator.
- Grades clinical assignments and reviews evaluations with students.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :
- Ability to work in both a face-to-face and online teaching environment. [Required]
- Knowledge of computer-based academic delivery systems. [Required]
- Ability to work with an ethnically diverse student body. [Required]
- 2 professional experience in the discipline(s) being taught [Required]
- Masters degree (preferred)
- Registered Nurse (RN) Required
