The incumbent is assigned to Geriatrics & Extended Care (GEC) Service Line with collaboration from the Social Work Service Line for Scope of Practice. He/She is responsible for planning, developing and implementing Social Work activities in assigned segments of the Community Based Programs of GEC Service Line. The programs include Contract Adult Day Health Care, Hospice, Homemaker Home Health Aide (HHA), Respite, IV Therapy, Home Based Primary Care and Community Nursing Home programs Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
