The incumbent is assigned to the Salem Veterans Affairs Health Care System (Salem VA HCS) in Salem, Virginia. Incumbent serves as a Supervisory Social Worker and provides direct patient services to the Veteran population enrolled in Salem Veterans Affairs Health Care System's Community Living Center (CLC). Social Work Services are carried out in full accordance with specific program goals and broad objectives of the VA health care system. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
