RWJBarnabas Health is Seeking a Director of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for Employment near the Jersey Shore!

 RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, and Monmouth Medical Center are currently seeking an experienced Neonatologist to join a large group as Director of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for employment in Long Branch, NJ. Designed to support the growing demand for services in Southern New Jersey, this role allows for tremendous career growth and mentor opportunities. Ideal candidates will be excited to take ownership of this experienced division and work alongside other well-seasoned physicians.

Monmouth Medical Center became the first hospital in New Jersey and the first community hospital in the country to establish a newborn intensive care unit, and today, it is the region’s largest state-designated Level III neonatal intensive care unit. With over 6,000 deliveries per year, Monmouth Medical Center has one of the highest survival rates among neonatal intensive care units in the country and ranks in the top one-third for survival.

About Position:

• Care provided primarily in a 31 bed in-patient unit

• Work closely with large support staff to assure quality and best practices are delivered daily

• Various mentor and teaching opportunities

• Directs the staff and programs of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Qualifications:

• Board-Certified in Neonatology

• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ

• Minimum 5+ years of experience

• Previous leadership experience is preferred
