Job Description:
Under general direction and supervision and in accordance with prescription, operates x-ray therapy equipment in order to simulate and/or treat patients for malignancies and pain.
� Documents treatment procedures in patients charts and verifies accuracy.
� Performs quality assurance checks daily on equipment.
� Performs calculations when required.
Qualifications:1. Bachelors degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or graduate of a CAHEA accredited school to Radiation Therapy or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Current registration or registry eligible with the ARRT. Must successfully complete registration examination in Radiation Therapy within one year of date of hire.
