The VCL's mission is to provide 24/7, world-class suicide prevention and crisis intervention services to Veterans, Service Members, and their family members. The incumbent will oversee the work of the call center staff, facility and clinical leadership, Center of Excellence, and VHA Suicide Prevention Coordinators around the country, and related suicide prevention and intervention resources in the community. Some of the major duties include: Performs management and program work including, but not limited to planning, training, scheduling, education, implementation, evaluation, staff appraisal, and monitoring adherence to VHA regulations, policies and procedures and program guidelines set by external regulatory agencies such as the AAS.
