Social Worker (Intensive Community Mental Health Recovery)
The clinical and program activities assumed under this position are conducted as part of ICMHR located at Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. The goal of MHICM is to develop, implement, and assess the benefit of a behaviorally oriented program of psychosocial rehabilitation, intensive case management, and community-based treatment for chronic mentally ill veterans. -Work will be conducted in the community and in Veteran's homes. Independent decision making will be required to provide treatment to Veterans diagnosed with Serious Mental Illness. - Knowledge of theories and modalities used in the specialized treatment of complex mental illness. - Skill in independently conducting psychosocial assessments and treatment interventions to a wide variety of individuals from v
