Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Program Coordinator)
The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) serves as the Program Coordinator who facilitates and coordinates programming related to Substance Use Disorder (SUD) programs including the Substance Abuse Treatment Outpatient Program (STOP) and the Substance Abuse Residential Rehabilitation Program (SARRTP) at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. The incumbent serves as the primary supervisor for staff who support SUD programming at the Kansas City VA Medical Center and CBOCs. The SUD treatment program is customer-service oriented, meeting a variety of emotional, psychological, behavioral, physical, interpersonal, and social needs of patients.
