Social Worker-PTSD and Substance Use Disorders
Incumbent is a clinical social worker assigned to the Mental Health Integrated Clinical Community (MH ICC) spending a portion of time providing various evidence-based therapies and assessments specifically acting as a subject matter expert for patients struggling with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and/or Substance Use Disorders (SUD) related symptomatology. Independently performs case finding functions and outreach, identifying and screening patients for psychosocial needs. Incumbent must possess the knowledge and ability to independently implement treatment modalities, provide counseling or psychotherapy for individuals, families and groups. Independently conducts psychosocial assessments. Develops treatment plans in collaboration with the veteran/family and with the interdiscipli
